jessie (my new friend, my moms coworkers, she's 20) and i found this bad
ass abandoned house and made it our own. we used up about 17 cans of
spray paint in just the two rooms that we decided to use (we stored all
the debris in the others and closed them off). we even stole a stop sign
on an abandoned road to adorn the ugly wall that couldn't be saved with
graffiti. she promised to keep it up and gradually add more stuff to it
while i'm gone. i can't wait to see it next summer.
jessie brings out the inner rebellious i-dont-give-a-fuck punk that
lives somewhere within me. i like it. she's the only person in alabama
that i can express every aspect of my personality and it won't freak her
out. she's even vegetarian! it's nice. i'm most definitely going to miss
her. a lot.
i missed brit so much. i'm glad i got to see her, and meet her church
friend sarah. she seemed nice. i'm just glad to know that she's not
completely alone in that shitty little 1 star town. her success is going
to surprise her when she gets to college. she's got a lot of will power
and definitely has the brains to do well. i believe in her. i know
she'll be absolutely fine. i hope she won't worry too much about little
things. enjoy your el pollo loco, bodacious brittany~
i got to spend a few days in columbus with my grand parents, cousins,
aunts and uncles that i hardly EVER get to see. aww, i loved it.
forreal. i called my new 26 year old uncle, 'uncle' jeremy and
thoroughly freaked him out. "can you imagine having a 17 year old call
you UNCLE?!?!" i owned at rock band and the wii. i lost mostly, but in
my eyes, i owned. i volunteered for 5 hours for the red cross with my
aunt and uncle, azer and andy, and it was sort of exhausting yet amazing
and fun at the same time. yeah. it made me reconsider volunteering in
texas.
oh damn, my flight is boarding. i should probably send this now. maybe
i'll write again soon. probably not.
p.s. i'm on pahe 178 in dry. i told you it'd take a while, but i'm
getting there :]
